The Napoleon is a showstopper — dozens of paper-thin, buttery puff pastry layers, each baked to a golden crisp, then brought together with a rich, velvety vanilla custard cream. Over time the cream softens the pastry into melt-in-the-mouth perfection.
This is not a supermarket cake. Every sheet of pastry is made and baked in our Richmond kitchen, and the custard is cooked from scratch. It takes time to make, and it shows in every slice.
A classic for milestone birthdays, dinner parties, or anyone who simply appreciates exceptional baking.
Best served: Chilled, sliced at the table
